🏛 Tay Township Bylaw Update
Tay Township has approved a one-year pilot project allowing ATVs and ORVs on designated municipal roads from January 1 to December 31, 2026 under By-law 2025-40. The pilot permits ATVs and ORVs on designated municipal highways while continuing to prohibit extreme terrain vehicles and off-road motorcycles.
- ATVs and ORVs remain prohibited on the Tay Shore Trail and First Avenue Trail
- Check QuadON for the new OFATV trail in Tay Township when trails open
🗓 Spring Event: Rolling Into the Season Ride
COATV hosted the Rolling Into the Season Ride on Sunday, May 3rd — with peameal on a bun and coffee at the clubhouse before hitting the trails. Pre-registration was required and it was a fantastic season opener!
✅ What You Need for a Safe & Legal Ride
As excited as we all are for trail opening, make sure you're properly equipped:
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Valid OFATV Trail Permit
- Vehicle Ownership & Valid Plate
- Valid Insurance
And always check QuadON to confirm that the trails you plan to ride are open before you travel.
